Codemasters games each have websites dedicated towards new user aquisition/preorder. Theres sites tie into broader makreting activities, and help drive hype and user sentiment towards the game up to release.
Overview
Codemasters had one game launch every 4 months on average, and each game required a range of Digital Marketing to support its release. The Game Sites were a key part of that effort, utilizing cutting edge-design and technology to drive aquisition and engagement. In 2013 I took over leadership of the Web teams in addition to my responsibilities in RaceNet, leading a multidisciplinary team of Designers, Engineers and PMs. Together we designed, built and maintained the sites, tracked telemetry, as well as managing and running other related digital marketing campaigns.
